I love love love this place, it's on the pricier side of this in terms of bread but it is so worth it! My favorite is their sesame mochi bread. It's so good, I can probably finish 6 by myself! I tried their taro bread today and still prefer their sesame mochi and the pineapple buns both with or without butter. Their cakes are also such a steal, although it's smaller it helps me portion control and my favorite is their grape cake, I highly recommend this one. I've tried a few of them and my my least favorite was the soy milk mochi. All in all such a great addition to the neighborhood

I got a 4 inch mango and Oreo cake for my twin's birthday. They always shared a cake so my husband and I decided to buy two cakes so they have their own. It works out since everyone can choose from two flavors! The cakes are moist and not very sweet. I called the day before to order the cakes. I went to buy cake here last time for my mom's birthday and there was only one flavor to choose from so I definitely recommend ordering them the day before.

This is a cute trendy bakery on 8th Ave. So far I've only tried their breads, but I really want to try their cakes, especially the soy mochi cake. Their breads are a hit or miss, depending which bread it is. The pineapple bun with a slab of butter is so good, and I don't think I've found that type of bread at another Chinese bakery in nyc. I know some HK cafes sell them but I have yet to try. Anyway, I think the pineapple bun with a slab of butter is really good (not Hong Kong good, but very acceptable). The bread is fluffy but the pineapple part is crispy and the butter is nice and thick and salted. All the while, it doesn't feel like I'm eating a heart attack. However, I've also tried their ham and egg sandwich and it was a no-go. They had some other interesting-sounding items that I would like to try. And if you're looking for bento cakes, they got it.

Buns and cakes were fully stocked; there's some eclectic varieties of bun specialty and cakes carried by this bakery (purple taro mochi bun); some cakes are sold by the slice at close to $7 per slice-kind of pricey. The store itself is clean and has a few comfy seats for dine-in. Location might be an issue; there's too many bakeries all clustered around the same area; It's tough to compete with brand name franchises along with the traditional local Asian bakeries that's been around for years. Overall, this bakery sells some tasty baked goods

This is a cute, small bakery that sells drinks, pastry, and cakes. There are a variety of pastries and they're all fresh from the kitchen! They even have the 4 inch personal cakes! The pastries are pretty delicious, so I'm for sure coming back for some more. I want to try some of their 4 inch cakes too!

I've lived in Brooklyn Chinatown my entire life, and this bakery manages to stand out from the many other bakeries on 8th ave for the quality and taste of their items! 5/5 (6/5 if I could) Hokkaido Milk Bread -- the one item I will consistently purchase every visit! Its soft, fluffy, good with almost anything on top! 4.5/5: Salted Egg Yolk Milk Bread, Matcha Red Bean Bread -- deliciously flavored on its own, but more difficult to pair with other spreads etc 4.5/5 Lava Cake 4.5/5 Oreo Cake -- extremely fair pricing ($15) for a 4" cake 4.5/5 Coffee Pineapple Bun -- super soft and fluffy, generous craquelin top, but coffee flavor is on the milder end 4/5 Taro Bun -- really mild flavor. For a better taro bun, try Jia Xiang Bakery on 44th st!

The bread again was so soft and pillowy; I couldn't help poking it a few times. Meanwhile, the bacon was meaty and savory, not at all greasy, and the egg was runny and sweet. * Mini Hot Dogs $1.95 Your typical hot dog, but much smaller. I love that they cut the hot dog meat in half, so it's not too much meat in one bite. * Cheese Bacon Bread 芝士培根包 $2.95 Another great combination!
